It’s such a surreal feeling when you suddenly become aware of your physical presence in a certain space at a certain point in in time.
Knowing that time is finite and the set will change at the end of one performance.
Photographs are the closest we come to freezing that moment in time and shelving it in a little part of our brain. The visual document helps opens the door to the other experiences that filled that moment. The touch, the smell, the feel of it.
But there is a certain kind of finality and curiously, a sense of calm and peace in knowing that moment will be lost in an instant and never again be experienced.
